Hello,
I want to retain our sloping building plot with a retaining wall. These are approved without a permit up to 2m here.

Our plot, as already mentioned, is on a slope, but it is also slightly sloping (about 1.5m) from the neighbor's boundary to the other side.

We want the wall itself to be completely straight.

My question now is: from which point do I measure the 2m?
Is the center taken here? I found no information about this in the regulations.

Regards

Weird question!

Measured from the natural terrain.

If the back is then 1.5 m higher, you are not allowed to simply add that to the front to keep it level.

And what does the maximum height that I can construct with approval depend on? Do the neighbors have to agree here? I would like to build higher than 2m.

And in this direction you now want to fill up, or what is the wall supposed to hold back?

: I think he means that his property is on a slope, so it slopes down from north to south and also has a different elevation level from east to west. If he only fills up the slope (north -> south), he would still have the gradient from east -> west. To intercept east -> west, he would have to build the retaining wall higher than the permitted (approval-free) 2m.

: So you mean, I understood correctly that it is about skewness in two dimensions; but I am wrong in assuming that one is content with correcting only one?

So the goal is now to "straighten" the property in both dimensions?
