Thank you, I will take another look there. I have been able to reduce the price of my steel carport to €8500 by now, but it is still quite a lot more money than such a wooden carport.

But, can you also green the roof of a wooden carport? This is required in the building area....

Yeah, Siebau is not exactly cheap, the representative also arrived in an Audi A6, that has to be paid for....

But you can also get Siebau carports through

Myport (official representative of Siebau)
Holz-Ziller

HWG and Holz-Ziller were about 10-15% cheaper than Myport with my offers. But they also don’t show up in an A6.

Our carport is not built yet, we moved in December 2016, had another child in the spring, and have therefore been too busy to take care of it until now.

The topic is currently also on our list, which is why I have had some providers give me an offer by now. Our assumption was that a steel/aluminum carport would probably be considerably cheaper than a concrete carport.

The offers for a double carport including entrance canopy (roughly 8x6m roof area) were all between 16-19K€, but without foundations and main lines for drainage.

Now we have received an offer from our main contractor for a concrete carport, which is around 19K€ without waterproofing of the flat roof. Overall, we will probably end up at around 20K€.

Since we like a concrete carport much better anyway, the decision is quite easy. The order was placed today, and now we are looking forward to it, especially my wife really likes the entrance this way.
