Haginan explained that a bit better in the other forum: In his mind, carpet is cheap stuff. As I understood you, that is your biggest difficulty. I can only recommend that you go to a large carpet store and stand barefoot on more expensive carpets. On the other hand, it depends on how often liquids get on the floor in your bedroom. I also clearly said: [OG komplett Teppich], except bathroom.

Hello Hagiman,

there are huge quality differences regarding the density of the material and, for example, whether you can lay the carpet on a concrete staircase. Then it must at least be bendable in one direction and you must not see the understructure.

Something like that is not available for €3.99, the stair carpet is by far the most expensive covering in our entire house.

If the carpet is only laid flat, it does not have to be as dense and durable as on a staircase, but if you want to have something from it for a few years, you will not be happy with a €3.99/m² carpet.
