Hello.

During a renovation, there is currently an opportunity to organize the previous cable mess.

Several network cables, telephone cables, and a coaxial cable come from the basement and go directly into the FritzBox upstairs. Behind the box, there has therefore been pure cable chaos until now.

The cables should now go into flush-mounted boxes and then from there neatly into the FritzBox via very short cables.

Basically, you would need boxes that extend the existing cables. Is there such a thing or what is the best way to proceed?

Thank you.

There are already holes for empty boxes, if I see that correctly?

So just put in the hollow wall box and mount the box, the cables seem to be long enough.

Get suitable cans and install them neatly in the wall. Then you can patch everything to your FB.

OK. Hollow wall box is clear, but which box with plug goes on? Is there one where I can plug the network cable in on the inside and then plug another one back in on the outside?

Well, for that you could use a cable outlet box, but the space in the box will probably not be sufficient for the cable. I would cut the cable to length and install an RJ45 outlet.

OK. For the 4 network cables with 2 sockets, I would need 2x UAE 8/8(8), right?

In principle, you actually only need 4 of the 8 wires per cable, so UAE 8/8(4). Which option is usually chosen?
