Under the given conditions, buying a house makes no sense at all. With the house, you bear a much higher risk and a much greater workload than with a rental apartment for a few years. Don't let anyone convince you to invest in ownership rather than financing the rich landlord’s circuit board faucet because the golden one is broken.... Renting is definitely the right choice for you.

I agree with PyneBite and think that a 1-2 ownership apartment is the better choice. Would you like to tell us the region? There are places in Germany where it is already foreseeable that apartments/houses can still be sold well in 10 years.

Addendum: I meant a 1-2-room condominium, not 1-2 condominiums.

Thank you for the numerous responses. The topic of owning a home is therefore off the table for now. The conditions described by you actually do not fit.
