@Punika, yes, you are probably right and we will take it easy at first. However, I think I would still get some non-binding advice from the bank. At the moment, a lot of properties with nice plots, some already renovated, are being sold here for just over €150,000, and since I am a trained carpenter, I naturally want to do some work myself ;-)

Non-binding advice at the bank is certainly not a disadvantage, quite the opposite.

That doesn't sound wrong - nice plots, partly renovated for 150,000€ - thumbs up!!
