Good morning everyone.
I have been thinking for a while about changing my door lock, especially because I am sometimes forgetful with my front door key.
Today at XYZ, there are two different systems from Burg Wächter on offer for 350 € and 380 € respectively.
Electronic lock with keypad. The whole thing is wireless (keypad with batteries) and of course works via radio or Bluetooth 4.0.
I am definitely not the type to be afraid that a burglar will hack into the system using a laptop or whatever and then break in. I have been doing online banking over my Wi-Fi for more than 10 years and no one has stolen money from my account yet.
I would still be interested if anyone has installed such a system (manufacturer doesn't matter) and what experiences have been made with it.
I still have to change my front door cylinder anyway because it is still the original cylinder installed and I don’t really like that.
