Built-in bathtub - Faucet

Hi,

we are having a ledge built around our bathtub at the height of the bathtub. Now I am looking for a suitable faucet. Edge-mounted faucets don’t appeal to us, we prefer surface-mounted faucets. We liked the Hansgrohe Focus series. Is there a way to "extend" surface-mounted faucets so that they reach over the built-up ledge?

Maybe there are completely different options that we haven’t even thought of?

I also looked at Axor and Metris, but they do not suit my taste. I find them somehow too modern.
