I think the interest rates are so bad that it’s hardly worth tying up your money for so long and not having anything from it during that time. You might as well open a regular savings account where the money can be withdrawn every day without incurring a loss.

Well, I think the interest on a building savings contract is still somewhat better than on a simple savings account. Even though the interest rate has really dropped, it seems to me.

I would recommend a building savings contract but only if you want to build a house in the future. It’s not really the best for saving because I also think it’s not worth it to have no access to the money you put in, just so you have a few euros more after 10 years.

I am really happy about my building savings contract! After all, it's a few € more, better than nothing at all. :) And I'm already looking forward to being able to get everything at once. Then I can take a nice trip with it. So much money all at once is great. -Even if it's really just my own savings and nothing gifted ;)

I would also advise you to get a building savings contract. Especially because it is safe and offers better interest. In addition, there is also the government bonus. But of course, you should think carefully beforehand about whether you might need the money earlier than planned.
