Hello everyone!

I am planning to get a building savings contract. Do you think that's a good thing?? I'm not quite sure yet..

Well, I think that a building savings contract is really a good thing. Actually, there should be something like this everywhere. Everyone should have the chance to get one....Who knows what else life has in store??

Hello,
Building savings can be a good thing if you want to build later and want to have a low-interest loan from the building society. As an investment, you should not see a building savings contract, because then it is rather unprofitable.

I was glad about my building savings contract when we decided to build, I would save building finance via a building savings contract again anytime.

It also depends on when a building wish is to be realized. For example, I am not very much in favor of taking out a building savings contract only at the start of construction and then saving it up. In principle, you usually save interest with building savings contracts, but the monthly burden is very high during repayment because the loan is usually paid back within 10-12 years, whereas with bank loans it often takes 20-25 years. Therefore, the building savings contract should not be concluded for too high an amount.

A building savings contract can be individually sensible and, as the name suggests, when you want to build later. As my predecessor already mentioned, a building saver should not be concluded shortly before the start of construction, but a few years earlier so that it is then ready for allocation.
