It must be mentioned that nothing has really been done for 25 years. A lot of leaves from the trees around the pond have naturally accumulated. These leaves have now developed into a thick layer of sludge. The process of silting up can be regularly (and carefully) counteracted – try to remove leaves in time, maybe use plants that can "process" nutrients in the water. Of course, all measures must be well considered and coordinated with the nature conservation authority. However, the nature conservation authority does not really get involved. So far (in the development plan procedure) it has been quite reserved. And yes, buying is a MUST now, but can be sold later. Plenty of green space itself does not discourage us; we are skilled at handiwork and experienced in gardening. Only this uncertain component "biotope" makes us somewhat insecure.
