Hello dear community

My husband and I are currently planning our house. Since a house is also a kind of center of life, we don’t want to live in a boring way like everyone else. We wish for a curved house in which our little ones are to grow up. In several communities, we have already failed with our project and most development plans hardly leave any room for flexibility. Neither of us has any knowledge of construction or building law.

Therefore:
Are there communities where rather unusual building structures are possible - or what should one pay attention to? We want to live in exactly such a house and are ready to move anywhere in Bavaria for this.

What does Bogenhaus GmbH say about this? I would contact them and other house builders directly and ask where they have already built. Since such special requests probably only appear in a handful of development plans in Germany, I would expect the greatest success where something like this has already been approved. And the house building companies are the obvious contact partners for this.

This has nothing to do with municipalities. On the one hand, you first need a suitably sized plot with the correct orientation. That is the first problem. Then either a development plan that allows enough leeway - rather in a new development area with an eco touch. Alternatively, an established development without a development plan, where you can "orient" yourself to the various house types in the surroundings (from bungalow to three-story building). In other words, there are no real reasons to deny such a house type. Thus, you basically have to search for land throughout all of Bavaria - the opposite of the usual procedure (you find a plot and build a house possible there). Does it have to be a house from Bogenhaus GmbH? They only build a few houses a year - but should be very experienced with building law issues. You will be much better off there than in any forum where you post your question.
