Building - Do-it-yourself, or professional??

Ok, so slowly I am really starting to consider getting a professional to do the work. I think I could save myself quite a bit of time and see how it goes. I can always say in the middle that I want to stop after all, but for now I will go along with it. Thanks for your help....;)
