Hello,

I am currently in the building permit review process, and the city has now informed me that a tree inventory plan is required for the approval.

Preferably with a 1:200 scale.

According to the city's Tree Protection Act, it is allowed to fell any fruit trees except walnut trees.

And other tree species with a circumference of over 40cm.

Fortunately, we only have one walnut tree that does not interfere with the construction, and a spruce that may be felled.

Otherwise, only fruit trees.

My question now regarding this tree inventory plan.

Am I allowed to simply use an excerpt from the city's development plan at a 1:250 scale and mark the trees there myself, of course with an inventory list that includes crown width, circumference, and height?

Or does such a thing have to be done by a company?

Does anyone have experience with this?

Just ask the city!

Alternatively, Google Earth photo?

You can also add trunk diameter, heights, and hardware store as a legend as an addition.

Your architect owes you a permit planning, i.e., he has to get your construction project approved - if a tree inventory plan is required, then it is the architect's responsibility. So why do you want to do it yourself? Or, to put it another way - why isn't it already included in your building application?

Best regards

I would be interested in the origin of the walnut clause Either a mayor from 1912 who liked walnuts or an economic promotion decree from 1419 when walnuts were mistakenly attributed the future of rural nutrition.
