Hello,
we are considering building our garage ourselves instead of using a prefabricated garage.
We are thinking of a size of about 3.5x9m (this would fill the gap between the house and the neighbor's property).
Since the foundation for the house is not yet in place, we would like to have the foundation and the floor slab for both house and garage poured at the same time.
The prefabricated garage would cost about €8500 without foundation and floor slab through the developer (unfortunately, we do not yet know exactly what we need to budget for this).
The question now is whether we should build the garage ourselves and how much material we need to calculate, or if we should have it done.
The gate should be a sectional door with electric drive.
We would start the garage parallel to the house, since we cannot do anything inside the house yet.
I also have nothing to say about the roof yet; does anyone have a suggestion on how to keep the total construction costs of the garage as low as possible?
