Is this a construction defect - see photo? This is the west-facing wall of our house. The bricks are completely wet from inside and outside. For your information: the roof is not yet on and the concrete ring beam is completed. Type of bricks: block bricks. Where the moisture starts, there is a floor-to-ceiling window on the upper floor. When it rained heavily here about a week ago, water ran down the outer wall from the upper floor. It already looked like that back then... but I thought it was normal... now the wall is still wet from the inside. It really looks as if water is standing inside the wall here. Is there really water inside the brick? Will it dry again or are drying measures necessary? When I looked at the foot area, I discovered ice crystals. Could it be that the ice crystals in the brick can cause it to crack? I really don’t know what to make of it. Thanks for your help. thx xdiver
