Hello everyone,

during the filling of the outdoor area at my single-family house, damage was caused by the excavator. Can someone tell me if this can be easily repaired and if so, how it should be done professionally?

The damage is about 6-7 cm deep and extends over several bricks. We have 42.5 cm Poroton bricks.

that is not bad, it can be filled again with mortar in the exterior plaster. If you have holes in the facade caused by your scaffolding, they will be closed up as well.

Best regards

Completely undramatic the damage.

Thank you for the answers, that reassures me as a construction layman.

The site manager said the same, a bit of thermal insulation mortar and that's it.

Hello Trasher19

if that is not dramatic, that’s good. But personally, I would insist on an expert opinion or the "undramatic" one. If it says that with a bit of plaster everything is fine, then that’s good and you can sleep peacefully for the next few years.

you have to keep things in perspective. An expert can only speculate and will definitely be more expensive than replacing the stones. you remove the loose parts and then apply a bit more "mortar" and that’s it.
