Block Bohlen house construction. Tips and recommendations

hello, I am Andreas from Mindelstetten and I am new here ...

my plan is to build a log beam house,

since I have very little experience with all that, meaning planning, statics, firefighting water proof, building regulations, development plan, etc. ... I would like to get some tips here so I don't look completely stupid ...

I already have a building plan ... 12 meters long, 6 meters wide and 5.8 meters high ...

1. Foundation is clear 12 by 6 meters but how deep should/must it be?

2. How about the roof? What would be recommended? Bitumen? Classic tiles? Metal/aluminum?

3. Electricity is no problem (my brother is a master and runs a business)

4. Laying the floor is no problem since there are 3 carpenters in the family.

5. Interior finishing should not be rocket science or am I mistaken?

6. Which heating would be ideal for my house? Underfloor heating or radiators? The heating system is located in the neighboring house

It depends on the ground; a structural engineer will calculate that for you.

In principle, you can choose freely - I would find a tile or shingle roof suitable as a first thought. Consider the statics; roofs weigh differently. Another option is photovoltaic as an in-roof or on-roof system.

That probably depends on the ratio of demands, experience, skill, and time. In principle, it is all doable.

6. What heating would be ideal for my house? Underfloor or radiators? The heating system itself is located in the adjacent house.

If you use an existing heating system, it (next to the house) will determine the type of heating. I would plan with a central stove - however, that requires space.
