Hi, I want to buy a house, behind the house there is a mountain, and between the house and the mountain there is a flat terrace built, the whole terrace is covered with water and the water has seeped into the masonry, it has been like this for years because the house has no gutter and probably no proper drains, in some places it has already run into the house and the ceiling on the first floor is damp. The house is only a few years old and is in shell condition and was abandoned due to lack of money. It is a solid house, made of pumice stones, but with the water in the masonry, what can be done or should I just forget about it? Could the stones be dried or somehow replace these areas? Why does all the water accumulate on the terrace, they are pre-cast concrete slabs, covered with black bitumen mats, who can help!
