Before plastering, should the flush tank be covered or bricked in?

Hello,

the bathroom in my basement is currently still in the shell construction phase. Soon it will be plastered. How does it work with the flush tank? Should I brick it up with Y-Tong blocks before plastering? Or plaster first and then double board with OSB/gypsum fiberboard?

How is this handled there?

Thanks and regards

Normally, you would now build up the wall and then plaster it.

I prefer the plaster on the exterior wall first to ensure airtightness. Everything after that does not matter. For an interior wall, it doesn't matter anyway.

Exactly as you planned it. You are the builder / decision maker. According to the pictured situation, it is intended to board the construction only before tiling. I do not see a preliminary masonry here as sensible, useful, or even considered.
