Hello everyone!
I have recently spent a lot of time dealing with the topic of ventilation. In particular, I have looked at decentralized controlled residential ventilation systems. Besides a core drilling, which of course creates a path for noise to enter the house again, the ventilation system also costs quite a bit (The eco-ventilator that you install in the window - besides the price - is not an option, since for noise protection reasons the roller blind should remain closed).
I have now thought of the following: we heat with gas through a central air duct, into which there would still easily fit a ventilation pipe - not quite as strong. The gas boiler is of course switched off in the summer. My idea was now to bury the pipe in the garden 1m deep over a distance of about 10m(!), lead it through the basement and through the air duct into the bedroom on the 1st floor, and use intermediate fans to transport the air from outside into the room in a controlled manner (possibly also with dew point determination of the ventilation air and the bedroom air to avoid unwanted effects).
Am I completely on the wrong track or is this a way to bring almost equal-temperature air into the bedroom throughout the year without much noise?
And is a distance of 10m enough to bring the air close to ground temperature?
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
