Hello,

I am wondering which solution is technically the best:

The bathtub on the screed or the concrete ceiling?
Continue the underfloor heating under the tub or leave it out?

There are so many pictures, opinions, ... it is clear that the entry height is lower if the tub is on the concrete ceiling ... and the sound insulation is better on screed.
But which option is technically "better" or "correct"?

Regards

There is no correct answer. Both are basically possible and you have already recognized the advantages/disadvantages.

We lowered the entry height in our old house by installing a tiled step in front of the tub and placed the tub on the screed. That worked quite well.
