I have no idea why someone would want to tear up such a beautiful bathroom that has just been freshly renovated. It costs money and causes stress. I am also not well-versed legally with dismantling & Co. But I wouldn't risk silently remodeling it.

, I really want to make nothing "open up" in the bathroom.

Preferably just an adapter for the wastewater connection, 4 or 5 holes in the tile joints for the bathtub clamps, and a silicone seam. That would be great.

, I was just about to tell my wife that it wouldn’t work because of the effort, and now you’re saying here that it is indeed possible to install a pipe after removing the bell *grrrr*

I’m constantly torn back and forth. Even a specialist company I already called is somehow uncertain.

I guess I have to have someone come once. The problem is that if that person possibly advises against it, even though there actually is a possibility. I’m getting more and more unsure ;(

Just a layman's question. Would it not be possible to place a freestanding tub and somehow connect the existing fittings?
