Hello!

We have the shell construction in timber frame construction (including windows and screed). The bathtub is to be placed in front of the 150 cm wide and 148 cm high window so that the upper edge of the bathtub is at the same height as the tiled window reveal. Tile thickness 12 mm. So far so good. But: In the original architect’s plan, a parapet height of 39 cm was proposed. During the selection process, we were told that this was far too low and that we should go for 60 cm. Said and done. The window was installed with a parapet height of 64.5 cm. Currently, it is 66 cm from the screed to the parapet. This will not change after tiling. Much too high for a bathtub... Since this was the company’s fault, we will insist that the window be set lower (the kitchen window will also be set lower due to a similar error). But: what height is correct now? I am grateful for suggestions in the measurement "screed to parapet height."

The bathtub is a Kaldewei Asymmetric Duo.

Note: The built-in wall faucet has already been installed. I do not know the height right now, but it is relatively high....

Thank you and best regards

Faydie

.. You can also raise the tub.

The height of the tub can definitely be found on the manufacturer’s website.

I know the height of the tub (can’t attach a picture right now/am only on my phone). But I don’t want to climb in at 66 cm. That’s insane. There’s also no room for a step :-/

Normally, the tub is placed on the raw floor, then the screed is applied around it... it would then be a simple calculation:
Parapet height (also raw floor) would be the tub height minus the tile covering (if I understood you correctly about what you want)

No, about the [OG]. I don’t want anyone watching me while I’m bathing. What difference does the floor make? I’ll try to upload the bathtub measurements later.
