Hello,

I have attached a floor plan of the bathroom and the shower.

I want to build an open shower (without a door). To the right of the shower, a glass wall (130cm wide) should be installed, the entrance area (109cm) should remain open.

The shower has a 2% slope, the connections for the shower are currently on the left wall (does it make sense to move them to the wall where the shower drain is located).

Do you think this is sufficient so that the whole bathroom does not get wet while showering? Or would a door be better?

Best regards

What is supposed to go at the bottom end in front of the shower?

We have 160 cm and a wall at the end, and it splashes a little on the wall (maybe up to 30/40 cm high) and also in front of the exit I always have to quickly dry wipe. So I’m afraid you’ll only get almost splash-free starting at 180 length. Or you have to accept that you’ll need to wipe/dry the floor. But you should also consider that guests or children might shower more carelessly and flood half the bathroom.

Look at the plan. This works well without a door. But a glass wall is annoying, you always have to clean it, better to build a wall and tile it.
For the shower fittings area, well, the showerhead has a hose and a bar, attach the bar above the channel, long hose, and the faucet then simply on the side. It will definitely work. K.
