Bathroom layout planning for new construction

I will discuss the bed situation; we had it that way because originally two doors were planned on the south side, in the view direction from the bed. Well, sometimes you get so caught up in something that you don’t think beyond it... but the bathroom door would not lead to the sauna, but to the courtyard entrance. The neighbors would have something to laugh about ;-)

... and, ypg, you are right, actually one washbasin is enough and above all the countertop space is important!!!

But since mine will retire in a few years and wants to do more home office before that, I started to think... so that we don’t get in each other’s way.

But he’s not doing home office in the bathroom, is he? My husband also gets up earlier than I do now... on weekends it always works out differently. When he retires soon, he stays lying down and I get ready. And when we both are retired, then you have someone to ask, you or I first. If I can stay in bed 10 minutes longer or am already/ still doing the kitchen, then it works. A double washbasin is therefore enough. Unless: he or you are so messy that you have to get annoyed about something. The real luxury is the counter space, which very few have or even plan for. So valuable!!! :)

If he works from the bathroom home office, then he gets a ban from the house and is allowed to sleep in the sauna

But you are right about the filing and that’s how we will do it now. Generally, we are not the type anyway... you have to have that, you have to have that....
