Hello,
there is plenty of space on my parents' property for a single-family house for me and my wife. The local building authority basically sees no difficulties (development plan). However, now the questions/problems:
The property borders two streets, one of which is fully connected to the sewage system, where my parents' house is also connected. The other street will not be connected to the sewer system before 2025 (information from the wastewater association). -> I would like to manage WITHOUT a fully biological sewage treatment system and connect to the existing sewer system, as well as electricity and gas. (Cost savings)!
At the location of the new single-family house, the plot is also at least 1 meter lower :-(
Furthermore, at the place where our new single-family house is supposed to be built, there is still an old barn with an integrated garage complex. We would like to continue using the existing garages or integrate them into a new building. I already wanted to start tearing down the barn, but the building authority requires a structural engineer for the demolition (additional costs, sigh).
Now my question: Is it worth commissioning an office for service phases 1-2 to clarify whether I can manage the drainage and all other connections and also plan the structural engineering for the demolition? If it turns out that it does not work, I would probably consider "acquiring" another property...
Many thanks for your advice.
