Good day,
since I am new here in the forum, I wanted to briefly introduce myself. I am 25 years old and currently a student. I live in the south of Germany near Stuttgart. I am a complete beginner "DIYer," so please excuse me if I don't know something basic yet.
Now to my question, maybe someone here in the forum knows the best approach.
I want to renovate my old basement because I would like to set up a small workshop there. The basement ceiling is concrete formwork, and I believe the walls are plastered. Now it is about the brick floor. I would like to renovate it because it is damp and uneven.
What options are there, and which would you recommend? It should be as dry and level as possible. In case of flooding, the basement could fill with water, so a floor that can be easily wiped would be optimal.
Many thanks
Regards
