Hello!
So, the new building is slowly taking shape. I have one quick question about the basement construction method: Our general contractor has two construction companies to choose from, both well-established and well-managed. The basement will be built as a "Weiße Wanne" (watertight concrete structure), 30cm thick with 14cm perimeter insulation:
One company forms the basement entirely on-site and then pours it (WU, Weiße Wanne). The other delivers precast basement parts and then pours them, afterwards filling the joints.
Which do you consider the more sensible, better, and safer option?
