Base slab or strip foundations for garage

Do you really find the strip foundation cheap? I pay 45 euros plus tax per running meter - plus excavation, which is not really much. I would ask the structural builder or similar about that and not have it done by the garage manufacturer.

Well, I don't really know the prices in Berlin, but for BW, EUR 3,800.00 would already be a very good price...

I will research that again. But I also think that when the foundation slab for the house is poured, you can basically pour the strip footings at the same time. That would be efficient as well. I will look into it.

I feared that, but poured is poured and the work itself is done. If the price difference doesn't become too big. I have to inquire At least we could then tick off the work step.

That’s true - however, we also had to check whether that would work together. For us, because of the basement, it was not possible; we only had it poured once the ground floor ceiling was in place. Additionally, support points had to be built in the floor - but only for the basement construction and the adjoining garage.
