Hello!

I have googled a few times but couldn't find good information. That's why I'm asking here in the forum. :)

I want to apply bark mulch under my hornbeam hedge to prevent weeds from growing there.

My research has shown that there are

    [*]coarse and fine,
    [*]treated and untreated,
    [*]sieved and unsieved,
[*]pine, spruce, and stone pine bark mulches.

Apart from the fact that stone pine bark mulch decomposes more slowly but is significantly more expensive, and that I assume coarser mulch decomposes more slowly than finer mulch, I couldn't find anything else.

Can someone explain to me what properties the different types have?

Thanks in advance!

Do what you think. Doesn’t matter!!! But don’t believe for a moment that you are free of [Unkraut].

Lay out the garden fleece and put gravel or some kind of bark mulch on it, and you're done
