Balustrade for the concrete staircase as drywall construction - is it that problematic?

Hello everyone,
we have a half-turned concrete staircase in the house (see pictures). We would like to have a parapet with a wooden handrail installed instead of a steel railing (see sample picture).
It should be done as drywall construction, the drywall specialist referred by the construction company does not do it.
Is it technically so problematic/complex? Are there disadvantages later on (unstable, breaks easily, etc.)?
Does anyone have experience with this?

Thank you very much!
Best regards
Nils

The sample image shows an MDF wood construction as a parapet, not drywall.

here is an alternative design in a somewhat slimmer construction made of painted steel plates. The individual plates were welded on site.

Problematic? No. Laborious? Yes. A lot of space is also lost due to the construction. Alternatively, have it built from Ytong. That would be my first choice.
