our hood in the kitchen works with a charcoal filter, no air goes outside.

Yes, it could be. We had something similar in our old townhouse – depending on the wind direction, the adjoining room to the bathroom would occasionally smell like a sewer.

But it was just a side room and only about six times a year, not at all in recent years.

An acquaintance told me that it could be due to the roof ventilation... I haven't dealt with it technically, since I am blonde and a woman and it didn't happen permanently anyway

I have now contacted the plumbing company that installed everything, again asking them to take a look at everything, including the ventilation and exhaust. I will know more on Monday. If anyone else has gone through something similar and has a solution, please get in touch, because this situation really stinks.

Possibly, the vent pipe is not airtight connected to the vent stone on the roof. This connection may not be well sealed somewhere, resulting in a permanent dry connection to the sewer.
