Hello,
maybe someone has a good suggestion for our bathroom.
Problem: we definitely want a large bathtub (190x90), as otherwise my husband won’t fit in at all. We have also planned a shower with 140x100 for stepping in. These two things are important to us. Now it is getting quite tight and the toilet + sink should also have space. The sink should be standard size (around 60-65) and the toilet of course.

The designer drew an oversized sink and a console behind it. This makes the space in the toilet very narrow and it is almost impossible to turn around when sitting on it. My idea was to put the console on the long side of the bathtub, but then the space for the sink gets even tighter.
But having no shelf at all is also bad. We have already considered embedding niches into the wall (drywall).
Does anyone have another idea? Or should we completely redesign?

Why is the HKV not planned in the utility room? We have the same one on the upper floor, same layout (hihi), we then have the HKV behind the door.

Hello,

Ah, ok - the part isn't that big after all ... so the inner door can still move a bit towards the adjacent room. Alternatively, the heating circuit distribution can also be placed between the WC and the door or in the hallway.

Something similar to the attached picture is how we last built a bathroom. By the way, in my opinion, you cannot do without the "console" you describe, since the sanitary installation is mounted as a front installation. This means you will find these shelf surfaces in front of the bathtub, as well as the washbasin and WC.

I would also always leave the floor-level shower open. On the one hand, you won’t get chilly when you turn off the water, and on the other hand, it is easier to keep clean.

Rhenish regards
