Hi,
we have a N/W garden. At this time of year, we get sun on the terrace in the mornings until 10:30 am and in the evenings from about 4:30/5:00 pm. Our cantilever umbrella does a good job but can either provide shade in the morning or in the evening and obviously cannot be rotated. However, the sun would probably also come through an awning because it basically shines "sideways."
Due to the short duration of sun on the terrace itself, we wouldn't need an awning/terrace roof, at most as a starting point for a lateral sun sail. In addition, the awning would have to be mounted on an existing ETICS, which again would be quite an effort...
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?
