I would only tighten it if there is a firm connection between the two posts at the top. Can you post a photo? Otherwise, this will just be speculation.

I hope the attached image clarifies it sufficiently. The posts are connected at the top by a crossbeam (roof consists of laminated safety glass).

Hello, how far apart are your posts? It looks like there isn’t a large distance to cover in the picture. I would suggest a clamping rod...

The distance is about 1.5m on one side and 4m on the other. Is a clamping rod that stable?

Whether a clamping rod is stable, I unfortunately do not know, as we cannot clamp it on our canopy, since our posts are 5m apart. So far we have not found a solution... mmh However, I have seen a solution from users on Instagram. Clamping rods are available up to four meters and in all colors. Best regards, Jasmin
