what speaks against a completely normal wall construction?

I wouldn’t commit prematurely. Just walk through the model house settlements and see what you like. It’s no use if three companies are named here, and all three then are no good for you because *insert reasons*

I actually consider the monolithic structure to be the "normal" one and everything with insulation or facing brickwork as "abnormal." Maybe would like to reflect on his views. ;-)

I also perceive the monolithic structure as the "classic". I would also like to have the wall clad with bricks. My wish would be a monolithic wall structure clad with bricks. It helps me little when I walk through sample parks where there are no houses that correspond to my ideas. We are not yet talking about the floor plan or anything similar.

So having the exterior walls monolithic and clad with facing bricks would be like wearing a belt and suspenders at the same time... Besides, either the thermal insulation would not be sufficient or the walls would become insanely thick, not to mention the additional costs. Facing brickwork is usually double-layered: load-bearing masonry, in front of it with a gap and connected by wire anchors the facing brick layer, and between them the thermal insulation. This is basically the "standard" where I live.

Instead of plaster, he can clad it with [Riemchen]. That would be possible. He might mean that, if applicable.
