Hello dear members,
I had a soil survey carried out before purchasing the plot. The surveyor came to the following conclusion: "Shallow foundations can be made within these soils, whereby soil pressures of o zul = 150 kN/m2 and o R,d = 210 kN/m2 should not be exceeded."
Are these values bad? What is the average value in SH?
In most building specifications, it often says something about "bearing capacity Eurocode 7 of at least 280 kN/m2" or "a soil pressure of 0.20 N/mm² (200 kN/m2) being achieved".
Apparently, I have to expect additional costs of €8,000. (Statement from the builder) Is this realistic?
Furthermore, I am considering negotiating with the seller of the plot to offset the additional costs a little! I hope this is a reason for negotiation!?
I would be very grateful for tips and suggestions.
Best regards
