Assembling the Ikea Brimnes bed with storage boxes correctly

I was able to solve the problem by having the bed assembled by more capable people
I think the problem for me was that I pressed the dowels into the eccentric with too much pressure before tightening. In the end, just fit the parts together without much force and then tighten. The eccentric should then hold the parts together without gaps.
