Arrangement of ceiling spots in the bathroom okay like this?

Hello everyone,

we have now completed the bathroom planning for our new build condo and "only" need to properly position the ceiling spots. At the moment, we have reached the following arrangement (see picture in the attachment).

We deliberately do not want a spot in the shower and definitely want to manage with 5 spots. By the way, a tall cabinet will be placed in the top right and a mirror with LED lighting above the washbasin.

From your point of view, does the arrangement of the spots make sense or would you change anything?

Should we position the spot near the washbasin differently because of possible shadow casting on the face?

Thanks in advance for your help!

And why not the 6th spot in the shower? I would recommend 2 switches, so that the right and left rows of spots can be controlled separately. If the bathroom is only used for the toilet and sink, you can make do with the right spots.

Thank you for your answer. We originally wanted a rain shower, and the spot in the shower would have been disturbed by the shadow cast by the rain shower. However, we have now switched to a normal shower rail with a showerhead, so a spot could actually go there. The question is also about the splashing water, but there are spots with the appropriate protection class.

May I ask how you shower that you splash water all the way up to the ceiling?

We are not the problem - our son is the spray master... Does anyone possibly have spots directly at the washbasin and can briefly comment whether there are shadows here?

You are correct about the shading. Of course, the mirror still requires separate lighting, independent of the ceiling spots. Light sails or similar.
