Don't you have to consider the tile color when determining the number of spots? Our electrician advised us to use 9 spots of 5 watts each for our very dark tiles.
It also depends on the fixture. I would choose two outlets and adjust the light source accordingly. From the location, I naturally favor red, so room-central. But green would probably illuminate the shower niche better – or is that irrelevant given the room shape and size, because wall-reflected light would also sufficiently reach the niche?
ExactlyThank you for the feedback. The general contractor electrician had suggested 5 pieces each 6 watts (looking like a 5 on a die). At first, I thought that was not bad. Yesterday I had another appointment with a different electrician - for one thing or another - he also said 5 are definitely too many. 3 would be enough. I had the idea here to place them one after the other in a straight line between the door and the window. It would be warm white anyway. You mean between the exterior wall (left on the plan) and the sink and then between the sink and the shower?
