I need your help...

I don't know how to arrange the spots. Firstly, I want spots in the roof box, super stylish. Unfortunately, I can't agree on any arrangement.. :/

Then I also want some in the house... hallway, bathroom, etc. What do you say?

Thanks a lot for any useful ideas. Floor plan attached! 13m long, 12.74m wide on the house entrance side + 60cm roof overhang!

Best regards

You can do it however you want? I would place some at a distance of 30cm from the wall, then the next row at 70cm or similar until you meet in the middle. You can do it regularly or irregularly. At the corner between ceiling and wall, you could also put LED light strips. There are almost endless possibilities.

The important thing in the end is to install a few more spots than you might need. Turning off one or two spots is much easier than installing a spot afterwards.

Spots are great and an asset in many rooms, but in some rooms I would rather go for decorative lamps. That way the overall room atmosphere remains more cozy. In the living room, for example, I would think twice before relying only on spots, as it usually should be a bit cozier there, and "normal" lamps can have a much better effect. I don’t know where your relaxation zone is, bathroom, living room, bedroom, kitchen, or wherever, but consider whether you want only light from spots there. In my opinion, spots seem a bit cold and uncomfortable, depending.

Alternatively, you can also have double switches installed. Then you do the main light with spots and also indirect lighting with xy lighting.

You can do so much, you might want to get advice from lighting planners or the like. It’s seriously amazing what’s out there.

Super. Thanks for your opinion. I've already asked about lighting planners as well, but there aren't any locally. And only online... Surely also expensive. But thanks for your feedback.

I installed my spots with a 40cm distance from the wall. I determined the distance between the spots using the LED light calculator (Google), so that the light cones cast on the floor still slightly overlap. For me, it was about 2.2m.
