I can understand the fear, but I think it is no longer quite as justified today as it was decades ago, when asbestos, highly toxic solvents, CFCs and other harmful substances were still used in construction. The inspections today are much more thorough compared to the past.

hi,

I have also seen documentaries about this topic several times, and it was hair-raising how much poison surrounds you within your own four walls. do you really believe that it can have such a big impact on health. apparently, you only feel the aftereffects after a considerable amount of time....

hi Mara,

you can bet that this is not just scaremongering. chemical additives found in certain building materials, such as xyladecor (just one example), have not been banned for no reason!

hi

yes the poison in your own four walls. in new buildings it can happen that mold forms on the walls. this usually happens when construction is done too quickly, the drying time is not or only partially observed, and the windows are installed and the walls plastered immediately afterwards, even though not everything is dry yet. then it is definitely better for your health to look for another mold-free apartment.
