Hello everyone,

I happened to discover the Expedit shelf today. The compartments would be perfect for my project. However, I can’t manage with the 33cm height everywhere. Is it possible to move the shelves?

Thank you all

Yes, if you want to drill new holes. No, if you do not want to drill holes. The individual shelves are fixed to the sides using wooden dowels. Regards Maverick1854

Hello

if you buy an old one, the boards are not connected with dowels but with a kind of metal strip that can be loosened. This allows, for example, to make the compartment twice as wide.

Hey Assamerer,

how old does it have to be? I only know 2 versions. The old version had short wooden dowels and slightly different screws without additional adjustment options and the new version. That one has longer dowels and different screws also without adjustment options.

Mh how old is a good question. Until about a year ago, we had the black/beech-colored Expedit in 185x185 at home 6, which was equipped with the plug system.

I have pictures at home, I'll look them up on the computer tonight & post them here.
