Good day everyone,
before I start a new thread, I thought this one would be the right place.
I have received an offer from an energy consultant for the new construction of a single-family house for the KfW 55 EE standard.
The offer is just under €14,000, minus a €5,000 subsidy = €9,000. Included in this is the thermal insulation proof for €1,200, which I would otherwise have to do through the structural engineer. Therefore, I practically consider the offer at €7,800.
When I read your numbers here, it seems quite high to me. Or is it due to the offered service? The summary looks as follows:
Meeting and consulting, including with the executing specialist companies (4 days) = €2,400
Calculation and balancing (5 days) = €3,000
Preparation of the thermal insulation certificate (2 days) = €1,200
Confirmation and construction supervision KfW (8 days) = €4,800
Incidental costs = €400
A few key data about the planned single-family house:
- 2 full floors with a gable roof, without a basement
- pure living space approx. 170 m²
Why we want to submit a KfW application is because we want triple-glazed windows, an air-water heat pump, and full thermal insulation anyway. In addition, a photovoltaic system. For the KfW 55 EE standard, not much is missing. Of course, something like additional costs for insulation material, for example.
What do you think about the energy consultant’s offer?

Completely excessive, better get other offers.
