Architects / Construction Companies / Construction Consultants Recommendations in Ingolstadt?

Hello dear forum,

We, a family of four, are planning to build a single-family house in Ingolstadt at the end of 2017/beginning of 2018. We already have a plot of land. We are still at the very beginning and are currently looking for

a) the best building partner for us. This can be an architect, a regional construction company, or a prefabricated house provider (both solid construction and timber construction are possible). It is important to us that this partner takes care of everything, from planning with us to construction and turnkey handover including painting, tiling, etc.
b) an independent expert who advises us on everything from choosing the construction company, reviewing contracts, construction specification, supervising the construction, inspections etc.

Do you have any recommendations for the Ingolstadt region or at least Upper Bavaria/Bavaria? The selection is so huge and the project is known to succeed or fail mainly depending on the people involved. Above all, a very good independent expert, I think, is an important guarantee for a successful, stress-free construction.

A good, reliable construction company seems more important to me than a good expert. Of course, a good expert is happy when you choose a bad construction company, then he has a lot to do and can send you many invoices....

Why should he? Experts don't receive a fee per line. He much prefers to put just a short list of defects next to his stamp.

we moved into our newly built solid single-family house last weekend. We built with the company L.Wasztl Hausbau from Karlskron. They are the general contractor who coordinates the companies and trades (all from the region and some have been working for Wasztl for decades).

We started with the basement at the end of September 2016, in November the shell with roof and windows was finished and, according to plan, could dry out over the winter. Electrical and sanitary rough installation then in January/February, screed at the end of March.

We were very satisfied, the communication with the general contractor as well as with all involved companies directly was always very good.

The shell was done by the company Glöckl from Karlskron. Friends of ours (self-contracting) also did the shell in spring together with Glöckl.

Minor defects on site were discussed and resolved immediately and unbureaucratically. There were really only 3-4 small issues.

The construction period was really very relaxed for us (2 children) (of course also very exciting and thrilling) and it was a lot of fun to observe what was new every day. The good gut feeling has not left us from the first meeting until now.

So really highly recommended.

We had KMH, JuraHolzhaus, and the architect Simone Buchner (Neuburg) in the offer phase and finally only Jura and Wasztl were left in the race.

I have a few more questions if you don't mind:
Could you maybe show 1-2 pictures of your house?

How is the sound insulation for you? Impact sound, airborne sound transmission?

Indoor climate? Any noticeable issues regarding dry or moist air? Do you have an automatic ventilation system installed? Home automation in any form?

And did you have an independent expert/construction consultant who was on the construction site from time to time and participated in inspections, or did you do everything yourselves?
