well, I think the creator of this topic here meant something quite different by construction diary, I believe.
What I do is more like information about what was done and I ask questions if something is strange.
I don't document date, time, weather, and who was there when and what was done, etc. I can't know that because I'm not on site and I find that a bit exaggerated. Reporting briefly every day when something happened is completely sufficient, in my opinion.

I was just wondering why my post was linked here. Now I understand the purpose.

... but totally misses the reality (of the architect at the single-family house). He comes by and inspects, but does not write daily weather reports, does not count the three employees of the shell builder or the number of construction cranes.

Exactly. Without [Mast- und Schotbruch], the logbook of the Andrea Doria remains empty, and she is not the Titanic either ;-)
