Hello everyone,
with the search function I came across countless threads on the topic of electrical installations (electricity, acceptance, installation, own work, ...) but found nothing suitable.
My concern: The electrical installations are coming up soon at our place. I would have the house connection (and possibly up to the distribution boxes) done by the master electrician. However, since my brother-in-law is a trained electrician (and really lives and breathes electricity, it’s his specialty) and has been doing everything related to electricity at his company for years (building smaller systems himself including control, BGV inspections, electrical installations, ...) he has offered to do the wiring. However, of course he cannot perform the acceptance.
Therefore my question: Does the electrical work have to be compulsorily accepted by a master electrician afterwards? And what is your experience with a master electrician accepting electrical work that he did not do himself?
