Hi,
We had an anhydrite screed installed in a prefabricated house with timber frame construction on February 19th. Currently, it is the 7th week of drying!
A measurement yesterday showed 55 digits in one corner of the living room, sometimes less, but in some areas also 70 digits.
We have underfloor heating. The drying program has been running for 7 weeks. Average room temperature of 28 degrees and 15% humidity.
The screed was only ground down 2 weeks ago.
All appointments are firmly scheduled. The kitchen is coming next Wednesday and vinyl should be laid beforehand.
The screed is supposed to be primed first and then filled. After 2 days, the vinyl will be laid on top.
Is this still possible with these values? The floor layer said not much can happen since it is not completely sealed, and potential residual moisture can escape through the joints or expansion strips.
I mean, what could happen in the worst case?
Thanks in advance!
