Alternative heat pump to Vitocal 200-S (subsidized by BAFA)?

Hello everyone,

currently there are delivery bottlenecks with Viessmann in the procurement of heat pumps. Delivery time is 7 months from today’s order.
The installation of a "Vitocal 200-S AWB-E-AC 201.D09" was planned.

According to the heating installer, there is no real alternative to this device, as it is the only split heat pump subsidized by BAFA.
However, in the "list of eligible systems" from BAFA, I also find other similar systems (e.g. Vaillant Arotherm Split). Wouldn’t that be a possible alternative?

Thanks and best regards!

Hello Markus!

Unfortunately, I cannot contribute anything regarding delivery times, etc., but the statement about the lack of alternatives is definitely wrong.

Certainly, there are more models, but we installed the eligible Vaillant aroTHERM plus VWL 75/6 you mentioned. The funding was approved without any problems.

By the way, in the case of Vaillant, I can recommend their "Fördergeld-Service." It costs a small fee, and they guarantee you the funding amount... Have a look online in this regard.

Good luck!
